Funko POP! Metal Gear Solid: Liquid Snake #1296

This collectible vinyl figure of the soldier Liquid Snake has been released by Funko as part of its officially licensed Metal Gear Solid Pop! Games collection. Made entirely from PVC, it faithfully reproduces the stylised design and characteristic features of this major antagonist from the world of video games.
Liquid Snake is a leading character in the Metal Gear franchise of tactical infiltration video games created by Hideo Kojima and developed by Konami. Introduced as the main antagonist in the cult Metal Gear Solid game released in 1998, he is the commander-in-chief of the FOXHOUND rebel special forces unit. Genetically, Liquid is the twin brother and mirror clone of protagonist Solid Snake, both products of the confidential scientific project "Les Enfants Terribles" (The Terrible Children) aimed at creating the perfect soldiers from Big Boss's DNA. Convinced that he has inherited recessive and inferior genes from their common sire, he harbours a nagging grudge against his brother. During the Shadow Moses incident, he orchestrated an armed insurrection in Alaska to seize the Metal Gear REX, a bipedal tank with stealth nuclear strike capability.
